Pap Smears

After the age of 21, it is important for Women to have a pap smear test in order to ensure proper reproductive health. This procedure is designed to collect cells from a female’s Cervix to determine if there are any signs of Cervical Cancer.  Generally, a pap smear test should be done every 3-5 years, however they are performed on a more frequent interval if there are abnormalities present. 


There are two parts to a Pap Smear Test: 

  1. Looks at Cells from the Cervix
  2. Tests for HPV in Patients over the age of 30. 


Pelvic Exams/Pelvic Pains

Pelvic pain or abdominal pay may not be OBGYN-related, but often we see patients to rule out these concerns. Could be Endometriosis, Uterine Issues, Bladder Issues, etc. This exam is often confused with having a pap smear, which is a different test for cancer and pre-cancer of the cervix.

Menstrual Disorders

The term menstrual disorders is a broad category, involving any irregularities in menstrual cycles, most commonly heavy bleeding, painful periods, and prolonged bleeding.

Breast Cancer Screenings

Breast lumps, mammograms, breast pain & tenderness. Emphasize same-day appointments for any patients that may find a breast lump.

Sexual Dysfunction
